Bifurcated Fans are direct driven axial fans where the motor is encased in a metal box to isolate it from the airflow. This makes bifurcated fans ideal for exhausting or recirculating fumes, gases and hot air up to temperatures of 200°C in standard form or 300°C for our high temperature bifurcated range. The motor must have access to ambient air. Arrangement - Direct Driven
Impellers: 150 – 915mm diameter
Impellers have aerofoil variable pitch Aluminium blades fitted into a die-cast Aluminium hub.
Five different blade angles are available and each blade is individually replaceable in the event of breakage.
All sizes of impellers can be supplied with varying number of blades to suit the application. This has the effect of reducing the static capability of the fan whist retaining a high efficiency.
